Dallas String Quartet Releases Upcoming Album: Gratitude
Mar 27 2026 | By: IMZ Artists
2025 challenged us in ways we didn’t expect. We launched IMZ Artists, produced our own concerts, earned a GRAMMY nomination, and reached milestones we had only dreamed about. But in the middle of all that momentum, we realized something important—we needed to slow down.
This year feels different. It’s about renewal. About reconnecting with the reason we started making music in the first place. That shift is what inspired our new album, Gratitude.
We revisited some of the most meaningful faith songs—Oceans, Goodness of God, How Great Thou Art, Gratitude, What A Beautiful Name, and Your Way Is Better—and reimagined them with just piano and strings. Nothing extra. Just honest, intentional arrangements that let each melody speak for itself.
There’s a lyric in the title track that stayed with us: What do you bring to a King but a heart full of gratitude? It made us stop and think. It’s easy to get caught up in chasing what’s next, but this project became a reminder to appreciate what’s already been given.
The album begins with an instrumental version of Gratitude and comes full circle, ending with the same song—this time featuring the incredible vocals of Sons of Serendip. That progression reflects our own journey this year—from stillness to a renewed sense of purpose.
This isn’t about reinventing these songs. It’s about honoring them—creating space for their message, their simplicity, and their beauty to truly resonate.
Gratitude releases April 3rd on Good Friday, which feels especially meaningful for a project centered on humility, reflection, and thankfulness. We hope when you listen, it gives you a moment to pause, reflect, and maybe even rediscover the power of gratitude.
